Next, the group arrives in Motovun, a striking medieval town with ancient walls and cobbled streets, offering panoramic vistas of the valley below. It’s a place you can’t miss. The ride continues through small villages and quiet rural towns, giving riders a glimpse into authentic Istrian life.

For those seeking extra adventure, there’s an option to explore the Baredine Cave before the group heads to Poreč, a picturesque coastal town, where a relaxing evening by the sea and comfortable accommodations await.

Day Three – The Venetian Coastline

The day kicks off in Poreč, where the UNESCO-listed Euphrasian Basilica and the charming old city core invite exploration of its rich history. After taking in the sights, riders continue along the coast, enjoying the beaches and lively seaside towns all the way to Vrsar.

As the ride continues, the Limski Fjord begins to reveal its beauty, leading cyclists towards a tranquil forest path. After a short break by the canal, the journey moves on toward Rovinj.

The final stretch takes riders through rural roads toward Rovinj, a picturesque Venetian town known for its colorful buildings, narrow streets, and romantic atmosphere, offering the perfect place to unwind by the sea.

Starting in Rovinj, the journey heads south along the stunning western coastline, winding through a variety of beaches—rocky stretches, hidden coves, and peaceful pebble beaches with crystal-clear waters. The path hugs the sea for a long stretch, offering breathtaking views of the Adriatic.

As the ride progresses, old fortifications and military forts emerge, remnants of the region’s industrial and military history, providing a fascinating glimpse into the past. The mostly easy trails allow for a smooth ride through this beautiful landscape.
